When I was 22 and fresh out of college I had no idea what I was doing when I jumped into this company head-first. I saw the opportunity and knew the demand for these products would be great if they did what people said they were going to do. Sure enough, IT WORKS!
I have always been an athlete with an intense work-ethic that I must have inherited from my amazing parents. I knew this business wouldn't be easy but I was excited about doing something different, controlling my own paycheck and getting started on products that were going to help me stay healthy and fit now that I couldn't be at the gym for 6 hours a day.
I graduated from college early and knew most of my closest friends wouldn't be able to afford anything extra and they definitely wouldn't have the time or desire to start the business while still in school. I quickly realized that I would have to think and act outside of the box for this to work.
This company has blown me away from day one. I love that our products can cater to male, female, young, old, athletic and sedentary lifestyles. It is a comforting feeling to know, on a daily basis, that everyone I encounter would benefit or enjoy at least one of our products. Now THAT is an amazing indicator of business potential!
I started September 16th, 2011 and became a Diamond (average income of $2000/month) in my first 3 calendar months. By March of 2012, I reached the Triple Diamond Rank and started tripling my monthly income from my full-time job.

Wrapping up H-Town!
I am having an awesome time this week wrapping up Houston! I have a feeling my fingers will be extremely tightened, toned and firmed after all of these appointments and wrap parties.
How does a wrap party work? Invite anywhere from 4-20 people over and I will wrap everyone for $25. If four or more people wrap, I wrap you for free! All you have to do is pick a date, time and provide water for your guests.

Skinny Wrap Tips
How to get the best results with our Ultimate Body Applicators:
(just a few things we have learned along the way)
1. If your body is not alkalized or "regular", our Greens and Regular supplement will help you tremendously to see better results with the applicator.
2. Take before and after pictures- sometimes that makes all of the difference!
3. Secure the applicator in place with a fitted tank, saran wrap, spanx or ace bandage. It will wrinkle a bit, that is normal but the most important thing is that this cream is being pushed into your pores and absorbed!
4. Drink LOTS of water!
5. Most people see some sort of difference after one, but a full-application is FOUR applicators.
6. Apply to clean skin (after a hot shower is great).
7. Avoid artificial sugars, diet drinks, etc. to maximize your results.
8. Once in your system, the botanical cream from the wrap continues to work for 72 hours (that is why you must wait 3 days in between applications) so you should be drinking lots of water that whole time!
9. Rub excess lotion into the skin. This cream/gel should be compared to liquid gold, don't waste it! :)
10. If you have it, use defining gel twice a day every day to maintain or increase your results. Results last 2-6 months from the applicators so the better you take care of your body, the longer-lasting your results will be.

Getting Over Yourself
Pam Sowder, the It Works Director of Marketing, often says to be successful in this business, we must "get over ourselves". I have had so many potential distributors, that I know would have been rockstars had they tried, turn down the opportunity because they were embarrassed to be the next person on facebook "selling" something or trying to get people to attend parties. Some were scared of failure and rejection, some were scared of what their families would think and some people just seemed to think that "network marketing" was below them.
Something that stuck with me from our Bootcamp this month was that "when you have a product that people want, you can get rich". When you are selling something that people want and they can't get it anywhere else, you can get rich. When you are selling something that can change someone's body or the way they feel (even the people who are active runners, athletes, etc.), you can get rich. I don't know about you, but I was a hardcore athlete my whole life and I still had cellulite and stretch marks. I haven't had kids yet but owning a store that sells maternity and nursing bras, I already know that crunches don't get rid of loose skin and/or stretch marks that some people have from child birth! You better believe that the nurse in my delivery room will also be delivering a skinny wrap to my belly as soon as she can.
One of my distributors reached out to an old friend this weekend with a simple and personal note about the products and just to catch up on life in general. This "friend" replied by ripping into my distributor with the harshest words and comments towards this type of business and our company. In fact, this person must have spent AT LEAST an hour or two researching all of these things about network marketing and this "silly pyramid scheme" that we are a part of (HELLO!? the 80's are over). There were many things I wanted to say to stick up for my team but we decided that this person must just be very unhappy with their lifestyle to spend such a huge chunk of time trying to discourage ours.
The last time I checked, working for yourself, setting your own hours, having unlimited potential for growth and being able to have financial freedom is PRETTY darn awesome. So as some of you sit here unimpressed or even embarrassed by network marketing, that's okay... I never thought I would be a part of something like this either. However, if you want to spend an hour researching why you shouldn't be a part of our company (or any similar company for that matter), I will let you do that while I take a nap and enjoy a little thing called residual income.
Man, I get passionate when I talk about this company! If you still aren't sure why, please scroll back up and refer to the main picture on my blog... this company HAS changed my life.
Have a wonderful Easter with your family and friends. We all have so much to be thankful for and not a day in this life should go by without acknowledging that every blessing comes from above!
